We called this project “room to move”. Not only was the client very short of space in their existing house, they also wished to redefine their living relationship with the site in a dramatic way.

The result is literally a room which perceptually moves from inside to outside with the opening of the envelope.

The clients, both graphic designers, also wished to have a space which conforms to the minimalism evident in their own design philosophy.
